AILET : All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2018) is a university level entrance exam for admission to B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D. programs. NLU Delhi is the organizing body of AILET. This is a national level exam which is conducted once a year for various law courses. The exam helps candidates get admission in various UG and PG law courses in National Law University, Delhi. National Law University Delhi (NLU-Delhi) is a specialized law university offering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It is one of the elite national law schools in India built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India.
AILET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) (Five-Year Programme)
Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination in any discipline with 50% marks. Students appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April 2017 can also apply….
The syllabus of the exam for UG courses is based on English language, General knowledge, Basic mathematics and Legal and logical reasoning. This accounts for total 5 sections of the exam.
The AILET for the UG courses is as follows:
⦁ Section A English – 35 questions – 35 marks
⦁ Section B General Knowledge – 35 questions – 35 marks
⦁ Section C Legal Aptitude – 35 questions – 35 marks
⦁ Section D Reasoning – 35 questions – 35 marks
⦁ Section E Mathematics – 10 questions – 10 marks
The total number of questions is 150 and the maximum mark is 150. The test is a pen and paper test and needs to be attempted in a span of 90 minutes. The questions are objective in nature.

CLAT : The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level, computer-based entrance exam

for admission to the NLUs (National Law Universities) – the collective term given to the top government colleges for law in India. It was established via an MoU signed by the Vice Chancellors of the top seven NLUs to ease out the admission process for these institutes.
CLAT entrance examination is conducted for admission to 17 of the coveted National Law Schools. The following national law universities (NLUs) consider CLAT scores for admissions to their under graduate program:

⦁ Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).
⦁ There is no age bar for appearing in CLAT
⦁ Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also appear provisionally. However, they shall have to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination before or at the time of admission with detailed mark sheet.
⦁ Candidate with compartment/supplementary in any subject in the qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission.

Marking: There is system of negative marking and for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks will be deducted.

SET:Symbiosis Entrance Test or SET is a university level entrance test for UG courses offered by SIU affiliated institutes. SET 2019 is scheduled for May 5, apply online before April 14. From 2019 onwards, Symbiosis SET Law Test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), Symbiosis SET Design Test as Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Symbiosis SET Engineering Test as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE).
