TISS conducts Bachelors Admission Test (BAT) to provide admission to the
aspirants in different BA programmes. Candidates are offered admission in
their 3 year BA programme in Social Sciences, BA. Honors in Social Work
specialising in rural development.

Eligibility Criteria:

Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from any recognized
board. Candidates who have appeared for their 12th std exam will also be
eligible to write the exam and final pass result should be produced if joining
the program.
Age Limit: Candidate should be 23 yrs or less at the time of attending the
Bachelor’s Admission Test .

Syllabus for TISS BAT is as follows:

• Current Affairs, Social Awareness, Logical and Analytical reasoning– 60 marks.
• English – Descriptive essay’s – 40 marks.
